What is Air sealing?
Air sealing is a process of stopping drafts into your home or building using 1 and 2 part polyurethane foam, high end caulking, and proper insulation. The process of air sealing helps to increase the comfort and energy efficiency of your home by improving the building envelope (outer walls, ceiling, windows, and floors).
Benefits of air sealing and properly insulating homes and commercial buildings:
  • Improved comfort during winter and summers
  • Lower energy use which means lower energy bills
  • A quieter home with less noise entering from outside
  • Fewer cracks for pollen, dust, pollution, and insects to enter the home or building.
  • Improved durability by reducing movement of moist air through building structure.

"Effective air sealing, combined with the right insulation, can make your home more comfortable and cut heating and cooling costs up to 50%."
